Getting Started

1.  What is ChipSplit?
ChipSplit is the affiliate network that represents terrific gaming brands like CarbonPoker and Aced Poker, and supports the hard work of affiliates in marketing those brands. We offer the best rates of any major gaming site online, and represent some of the fastest growing brands in the business. If you like analogies, we are the Chicago Bulls of the late 80’s, Rocky Balboa of 1975, or the Atlanta Falcons of 2008—in other words, we’re just getting started.

3.  What is an affiliate? What is affiliate marketing?
Being an affiliate is all about working together with a brand or brands for common gains. When your site or other marketing techniques attract players to our website, we reward that effort with either a share of the revenue generated by that player over their lifetime on our site (Revenue Share Plan) or a flat payment per player you attract (CPA Plan). The more you revenue send us, the larger your commissions will be in return!

4.  Are non-gaming sites eligible to join the ChipSplit Affiliate Program?
Absolutely. Everyone is welcome to send traffic to our brands, with the exception of certain objectionable sites like those targeting minors, websites featuring illegal content, or websites featuring adult content of an illegal nature.

5.  How do I join the ChipSplit Affiliate Program?

6.  Are there costs associated with joining the ChipSplit Affiliate Program?
Nope. Joining ChipSplit means becoming partners with us, so we don’t make any money until you’re making it yourself.

7.  Can I promote more than one ChipSplit brand on my website,
     or do I need separate a separate affiliate account?
Please do! One of the virtues of ChipSplit is that it is centralized – all of your reports, banners, and revenues from our different brands can be viewed and managed in one place.

8.  I had an account with PDCAffiliates.com. Do I need a new account with ChipSplit?
You don’t need a new account, but you will need to start logging in through ChipSplit. Your account will remain exactly the same, only now you can do more with it.

9.  I am concerned I am too small to compete in the gaming industry. Is it worth trying?
Definitely. We weren’t always as successful as we are now (and still see huge room for improvement), so we understand how daunting it can be to be the little guy in a big, competitive market. But that’s exactly why we want you – with our exceptional support resources and promotions aimed directly at small (and medium, and large!) affiliates, we are in a better position that any other site to help you find your feet and start turning your hard work into profit. 10.  I don’t have a website. Can I still be a part of the ChipSplit Affiliate Program?
Yes. We have offline trackers available that allow you to promote our brands in person and without any technical know-how. Get in touch with an affiliate manager and bring up our offline marketing options.

Payment Plans

1.  How do affiliates get paid?
Affiliates are paid based on the activity of the players that are tracked to their account, and the payment plans that the players are tracked to. At ChipSplit we offer an industry-leading Revenue Share Plan and an exceptional Cost Per Acquisition Plan. We also offer no monthly carry-over on negative side game revenue (also known as Ring-Fenced Side Games), which can make a substantial difference in your monthly earnings.

2.  What is the Revenue Share Plan?
For each player you sign up to a Revenue Share Plan, you earn 40% of their net lifetime revenue. This means that if they generate $600 in revenue in a particular month, you’ve earned over $200 without breaking a sweat. And just to be clear, our Revenue Share program is unmatched—most major sites offer less than half of our rate, and only offer their highest rates to their biggest affiliates.

3.  What is the CPA Plan?
Our Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA) Plan is all about new players – the more you sign up, the more you get paid. Depending on the brand and promotion, the player may need to reach certain small benchmarks in order to qualify you for your CPA commission, but this qualification is usually less than the equivalent of one hour of play.

4.  Are there other plans available?

5.  How does side game carry-over affect my revenue?
When a player plays a side game like roulette or slots, there is always the possibility that they could win, go on a profitable run, etc. Many major sites will deduct those winnings from your monthly earnings until you have recovered the amount that has been paid out to the player on those side games. At ChipSplit we ring-fence side games each month, meaning big wins will only affect your revenue for the month they occurred in – a new month means a clean slate.

6.  How are my commissions calculated?
Commissions are calculated by determining a player’s total revenue for a month, minus any bonuses, credits, or costs that are directly associated with the player.

Reports & Payments

1.  How do I get paid?
There are a variety of options when it comes to collecting your earnings for the month, but the most versatile and popular option is by transferring them to your player account. From your player account you can take advantage of the many payment options all our players enjoy. Please visit CarbonPoker to find the latest withdrawal methods available in the cashier.

2.  When do I get paid?
Payments are processed every month for the preceding months earning and sent via your selected payment method. Player account transfers are made in the first week of the month (for the previous month’s earnings).

3.  How do I track my monthly statistics?
ChipSplit offers up-to-the-minute reporting of all your player activity, and allows you to closely monitor the effectiveness of individual links, banners, and campaigns.

4.  My account balance from last month says $0, and I know I earned more than that. Why?
Each month our reporting software consolidates its reports and calculates each affiliate’s earnings for the past month. When this occurs it resets your statistics for that month and initiates the payment process. So don’t worry, we have your numbers, and it’s just a matter of days before you see your payment.

Marketing Tools

1.  What tools are there available for me to market with?
We offer a wide range of marketing tools to our affiliates across all our brands, from high-converting banners, to unique bonus codes, to customized tracking links, we have it all. Check out our Marketing section for all the resources, and to find the right one for your site.

3.  Can you help me make my website better?

Sub-Affiliates

1.  What is a sub-affiliate?
A sub-affiliate is an affiliate you refer to our ChipSplit Affiliate Program. A sub-affiliate has access to all the same benefits as you do, and as they begin to promote our brands are refer new players, you will earn a percentage of their monthly revenue.

In our sub-affiliate program you earn an industry-leading 10% on the revenue of any affiliate you refer directly to our program.

2.  What if a sub-affiliate I’ve referred refers another affiliate?
Only first-tier referrals count towards your account. If your sub-affiliate refers another affiliate, you are not eligible for any earnings on that account.

Tracking Players & Bonus Codes

1.  How are players that I refer tracked to my account?
There are two different ways players can be tracked to affiliate accounts: by signing up with one of our brands after clicking through a marketing link on your site (a banner, a feed, or a text link), or by signing up with a custom bonus code.

2.  How are players tracked through marketing links?
When a potential player clicks on a link or banner on your website, their browser is assigned a tracking ID that is unique to your account. Once the player has created their account, the tracking ID determines the affiliate account that they will be tracked to. Note that a player will only be tracked to you by this method if yours was the last affiliate website they visited before signing up!

3.  How are players tracked through bonus codes?
The other way players can be tracked to you is by signing up with a custom bonus code. Custom bonus codes can be requested by visiting the bonus code section of the ChipSplit website, or by emailing support@chipsplit.com with your affiliate ID and your desired bonus code. When a player signs up and enters your custom bonus code in the appropriate field they are automatically tracked to your account.

Your Account

1.  How do I update my account information?
To update your account information login to your ChipSplit account and select “My Account.” From there you can make adjustments to your payment preferences, contact information, password, and other details. Note that for the sake of security you are not able to change your affiliate username in this section. If you do need to make a change to your username, please contact your Affiliate Manager.

2.  Where can I get support?
We are committed to doing everything we can to maximize your experience with our Affiliate Program! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns don’t hesitate to email support@chipsplit.com. Emails are normally returned within 24 hours. Even better though is getting in touch with your Affiliate Manager, who can get in touch with you over Skype, MSN, or the phone to assist you as quickly as possible.
